TWIST OF FATE

Through the clouds we glide; the sky around us, the freshest, the bluest of blues. As the last tendril of cloud clings to our vision, we explode into the sunshine, a small town below us: the town of Garrett Maryland, nestled high in the mountains in the west of the state. And we dive! The ground rushes toward us as we wing through the cold air. The Loop facility and all of its secrets lie to the north. Just to the east, a lone building is perched on a cliff. As we look on this building known as Castle Grayskull, we hear voices from the past:

Randall Flagg: "Stay quiet, Heather, and I'll let you live."

Optimus Prime: "Bombs Away!"

Van Halen: "Stay ready!"

Mainstreet Jimmy: "At sunset he will devour them!"

Miss Maggie: "Everything you've ever read, every tear you've cried for the characters in your tales. Look to the books!"
